Hello all,
As we learned from the movie "Wag the Dog," you can't have a war without a theme song. Since this war is being waged (or should I say wagged) by a Vietnam War draft dodger, it seems appropriate to refit that Country Joe and the Fish classic, "I-Feel-Like-I'm-Fixin'-To-Die Rag," with a new set of wheels and put it on the road to Kosovo.
The Kosovo Rag
Come on all of you big strong men,
NATO needs your help again.
Got a new mission don't you know,
Way over yonder in Kosovo.
So put down your books and pick up a gun,
We're gonna have a whole lotta fun.
Chorus:
And it's one, two, three,
What are we fighting for?
I don't really know,
I'm on the road to Kosovo;
And it's five, six, seven,
Open up the pearly gates,
Well there ain't no time to wonder why,
Whoopee! we're all gonna die.
Come on liberals, let's move fast;
Your big chance has come at last.
Gotta go bomb Milosevic
Until we make him really sick.
You know peace can only be won
When we've blown him to kingdom come.
[Chorus]
Come on Wall Street, don't move slow,
We've got a war in Kosovo.
There's plenty good money to be made
Supplying NATO with the tools of the trade,
Just hope and pray when they bomb Serbia to hell,
There's someone left to buy what you sell.
[Chorus]
Come on mothers, give up your boys,
Clinton wants to test his new toys.
Come on fathers, don't hesitate,
Send your daughters off before it's too late.
You can be the first one on your block
To have your kid come home in a box.
[Chorus]
Well, back to wathing the war coverage. I hear there's going to be a test. I wouldn't want to get caught in a draft. If you know want I mean and I think you do.
Remeber, we have a secret ballot in this country. So you can always lie about your vote,
