I guess I didn't think this prank through very carefully did I.

If you haven't heard about Melissa it's a computer virus that cheats at Scrabble. It was written by Bart Simpson and is distributed by TV cartoon shows. NATO has cornered the virus in Serbia and is trying to bomb it into black and white. Fox network has denied any responsibility for moving "King of the Hill" and "Futurama" to Tuesday night.

The FBI agent with the death grip digging in my shoulder wants me to remind everyone that any contact with the Melissa virus must be reported to the local FBI office or your neighborhood snitch. The FBI agent has also assures me that it is not company policy to kick down you door and smash your computer into tiny pieces with a sledge hammer. That is the decision of the agent on the scene.

Some of the gags that didn't make it into the Y2K piece:
1) The president of Croatia asked if he'll still be able to play "Pong" on his Atari after New Years.
2) The government has assured citizens the ox carts will continue to run on time.
3) The national street light may go out but volunteers will be burning cow chips.

I have some imported cookware at home that really needs cleaning. Where can I get some of this "ethnic cleanser" stuff?

Serbian ethic cleanser is available from NATO. Ask about their "B2" overnight air delivery.
Serbia is the major supplier of Albanian ethic cleanser but they only serve the Balkans.
